Parent Pay Parent Pay is now up and running with more parents now using it. If you are having any difficulties in setting up your account, please see Miss Caldwell in the office who will help set it up with you on a computer in the library. If you do not have access to a computer in order to use this service, you are very welcome to use the one in the library.

If you don’t use Parent Pay then please make sure all money is in a named envelope and handed in at the office.

Games If you have got any board games at home that are no longer used we would very much appreciate them in school. E.g. Ludo, Draughts, Connect 4, Snakes and Ladders, Chess, etc.

P.E. We have a number of children who are not bringing a P.E. kit to school. It is a legal requirement that all children do P.E. so it is really important that kits are in school.

Jewellry For health and safety reasons, children should only be wearing studs to school and all ear rings must either be removed for P.E. or covered with a plaster from home. Any bracelets that cannot be removed must be covered with a sweat band for P.E.

Health and safety Please do not allow children on the climbing equipment in the main playground or the Early Years playground before or after school. Children are only allowed on when supervised by a member of staff. Also please do not allow children on the grass bank outside Year 1 as this is also a safety issue.

Uniform We still have a selection of uniform for sale. Please come along to the school hall at the start or the end of each day next week.

Snack time We are trying to encourage the children to eat healthily at school so please don’t send big packets of crisps, lots of chocolate bars or full packets of biscuits for their snack. Please send a drinks bottle every day. No fizzy drinks or milk shakes as the classrooms are very warm. The children have access to a water machine so they can refill their bottles throughout the day.

Bags Any bags the children bring to school need to be able to fit in their drawer in the classroom. Now school is full we can only fit coats and a P.E. bag on coat hooks in the corridor. Please name every item of clothing and bags as at the end of each day we are unable to return unnamed items to the children. Lost property will be in the conservatory by the main office for you to look through if your child loses anything. Absence/illness If your child is ill and will not be in school, please ring to let us know. If we haven’t heard from you then we will give you a call to find out why your child is absent. We are now writing down any children who arrive late so we can monitor this closely. This is a requirement of our attendance officer who visits school on a regular basis to look at overall attendance.

Thank you so much for your continued support. Any questions or worries please do not hesitate to contact us so we can help. We are looking forward to a happy and hardworking term.
