CREW DC ANNOUNCES MARCH 15th LUNCHEON PROGRAM PLAYING THE FIELD – SPORTS, POLITICS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Washington, D.C., March 9, 2016 – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Washington, DC invites its members, the general public and media to its March 15th luncheon program, Playing the Field — Sports, Politics and Economic Development. Mixing sports, politics and economic development can produce some interesting results. Learn how the leading players in the Washington, DC area play for keeps! From the Verizon Center, which transformed Chinatown and the entire East End, and the continued revitalization of the Anacostia waterfront, which was energized by the development of Nationals Park, to DC United’s plans for Buzzard Point. Hear what it takes to transform a sports and entertainment vision into a reality.

The luncheon program will be held on Tuesday, March 15th from 11:30 am to 1:30pm at the Acela Club in Verizon Center at 601 F Street, NW in Washington, DC.
