Dear Year 11 Parents/Carers

ITALY 2014 – Year 11 Residential Visit Confirmation of Travel Arrangements

Thank you for your initial deposit for this residential visit to Italy. I am now able to confirm the details of our flight reservations for this trip which have been booked as follows:

3 July 2014 Outbound Flight from Gatwick to Naples Departs 19.00 and Arrives 22.40

6 July 2014 Return Flight from Naples to Gatwick Departs 23.25 and Arrives 01.10 (7 July 2014)

These flights will allow us 3 full days in Sorrento as planned, but will also keep the cost at the same level, even though we have a smaller group than was originally planned. We are likely to leave York on 3 July 2014 around 08.00 and return on 7 July 2014 at a similar time; final details of departure and return times will be confirmed nearer the departure date. We are still finalising the exact details of our itinerary in Italy, but it will include visits to Vesuvius, Pompeii and the Island of Capri.

I can also now confirm the remaining payment schedule for this residential visit will be as follows:

Payment 1 Will be due by Friday 10 January 2014. £120

Payment 2 Will be due by Friday 28 February 2014. £160

Payment 3 Final balance due by Monday 31 March 2014 £160

. If you wish to pay the balance of £440 in one instalment, this can be done, however the payment will need to be received by YHS no later than 10 January 2014. Your payments may be paid to the School Finance Office or online via the Parent Pay Website at www.parentpay.co.uk If you do not have a Parent Pay account for online payments, please contact us by telephone or email.
