Subject: Resume for consideration as Art Department crew member

To Whom It May Concern: I have recently been certified through the art department training course from Lifton Institute for Media Skills (LIMS), located at Unity Studios in Allen Park, MI. I am actively pursuing opportunities to work on feature length films as an assistant propmaster. In addition, I would like to further my talents as a specialty prop design and fabrication person.

While attending LIMS, I completed work on a feature length student film called “Blind Sided.” I designed and fabricated many specialty props for this film including: functional crossbow, mechanical traps, secret doors and passageways. As the propmaster, I enforced a safe working environment with the weapons on set. I have broken down a script as well as, acquired, modified and repaired props as needed. This experience has given me the opportunity to compile a prop-house resource list for Michigan.

I would be a value-added addition to your crew and would like the opportunity to discuss my skills with you.

Thank you for your consideration, Kevin P. O’Connor [email protected] 734-748-4206
