1. Objetos indirectos Below is a conversation between the doctor, the patient David, and David’s mother. Complete the conversation with the correct indirect object pronouns.

Sample answer: Doctor: David, ¿a usted le duele el estómago? David: No, doctor. No me duele el estómago. Doctor: Generalmente a las personas que tienen esta infección les duele el estómago. Madre de David: Pero, David ¿a ti te duele la garganta, no? David: Sí.

2. Una visita al doctor Recall the last time you visited your doctor. Write a short paragraph in Spanish about your illness, what had happened, what type of medicine the doctor gave you, and how you took care of yourself to recover.

Sample answer: Tenía fiebre y dolor de garganta. Fui al doctor inmediatamente. El doctor me dio antibióticos para combatir la infección. Yo comí bien, bebí mucha agua, tomé las medicinas y descansé bien.
