2013 HARTFORD FAIR WEEK CAMPING APPLICATION FOR LOTTERY 1. Fill out the attached form and mail or bring to: The Hartford Fair, 14028 Fairgrounds Road, Croton, OH 43013 before 5:00 pm on or before Saturday, July 6, 2013. 2. Only one application will be accepted from each person and/or household. The only permanent camping lots will be those given up by a current permit holder. All other lots in the lottery drawing will be for primitive lots (electric and water not provided) and will only be reserved for the current fair week. 3. All available lots will be designated and marked by 7:00 PM on Monday July 15th for viewing. 4. The applicant must attend the lottery drawing on Tuesday July 16th, 2013, 6:00 pm at the Hartford Fairgrounds Natural Resource Area. Upon selection each camper must then show proper picture ID and be prepared to choose an available lot. 5. A non-refundable payment of $200 for permanent lots or $150 for primitive lots is required on day of lottery drawing. Acceptable payment can be cash, check, MC or Visa. 2013 CAMPING RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Campers shall not come on the grounds before 8 AM, Wednesday July 31st and must exit the grounds by 8 AM on Monday, August 12th. 2. Wednesday, July 31st – Saturday, August 3rd all campers must access the campgrounds through gate D. Beginning Sunday, August 4th the only gate accessible to the campgrounds will be A4. All other gates will not be accessible to the campgrounds. Vehicles with the “Camper Vehicle Parking Permit” will be the only vehicles allowed access to the campgrounds. All others must park in the general parking lots. 3. Campers must be pre-registered with the Secretary’s office prior to moving in. 4. Once a camper fee of $200 for permanent or $150 for primitive lot has been paid there will be no switching of lots allowed before or during the fair. 5. No sub-leasing is permitted. Only one Camper or tent will be permitted on each lot. Only one campsite is permitted per household, name and/or address. 6. All camping permit cards must be visibly displayed in window of camper adjacent or nearest to the door. 7. No electric cords are to run across roadway and only ONE electric outlet allowed per camping lot. 8. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the fairgrounds. 9. 11:00 PM will be quiet time and all fires and outside lights must be out or off by 12 midnight. 10. NO GENERATORS ARE PERMITTED TO RUN BETWEEN HOURS OF 10 PM – 8 AM. 11. There shall be no pets in the campgrounds. 12. All trash must be placed in dumpster before 8:00 AM. . 13. Only ONE vehicle is permitted to park on the lot and this vehicle must display the parking permit. Additional vehicles must be parked in the general parking lots. This rule will be strictly enforced. THERE WILL BE PREFERRED PARKING PERMITS AVAILABLE FOR $20.00. THIS PARKING AREA IS LOCATED DIRECTLY BEHIND THE HOG BARN. 14. Dumping gray water and sewage on the ground is forbidden. There is a gray water dumping station located in the campgrounds for your convenience. A service will be available daily beginning, Saturday, August 3rd to pump campers and the times and fee will be posted at the shelter house. Anyone found abusing this rule will forfeit their camping privileges. 15. It is the permit-holders responsibility to inform the Hartford Fair of any change in address. 16. You must be 21 years of age to register a camper and you will be responsible for all occupants and guests. 17. For further information see the posted signage in the Shelter House. 18. Golf Carts, bikes, atv’s, recreational or similar motorized vehicles are prohibited. No Exceptions. Power Chairs for the physically challenged will be available for rent at the gates. 19. ONLY THE PERSON/SPOUSE WHOSE NAME IS ON THE CAMPING PERMIT WILL BE ALLOWED TO PICK UP THE CAMPING PERMIT. ALSO, THE ADDRESS YOU HAVE PROVIDED THE FAIR OFFICE MUST MATCH THE PHOTO ID REQUIRED TO PICK UP THE PERMIT. 20. YOU COULD BE ASKED TO REMOVE ANY REFRIGERATOR AND/OR FREEZER, PLUGGED IN OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAMPER. 21. A PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED BEFORE ENTERING THE CAMPGROUNDS. CAMPER PACKETS WILL NOW BE AVAILABLE UPON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT. IF LOST, A $25 FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE AND/OR CAMPER PERMIT REPLACED. THE REPLACEMENT WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO THE PERSON AND/OR SPOUSE WHOSE NAME THE LOT IS ASSIGNED. 22. THE DEPOSIT TO RESERVE YOUR CAMPING LOT WILL BE $50.00 AND MUST BE PAID BY NOON ON OR BEFORE THE 3 RD SATURDAY OF SEPTEMBER EVERY YEAR. (09/21/2013) 23. Camper does forever release, acquit and discharge The Hartford Independent Agricultural Society (DBA The Hartford Fair) and each of its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, both their official and personal capacities, whichever may be applicable from any and all claims, demands, judgments, actions causes or actions, unknown, vested or contingent in law, equity or otherwise arising under or from any claim asserted or that could have asserted, or otherwise arising form this contract .
