Note: Degree should be Masters or Ph.D. in the field of teaching from AACSB accredited institution. Exceptions to this education requirement are rarely made; such exceptions must be requested through a memo of justification from the Department Chair to the Associate Dean.

Per GSU’s graduate assistantship policy, the prospective GTA must have completed more than eighteen credit hours of master level courses in the appropriate discipline. The student’s current GSU transcript should be attached to show the number of credit hours he/she has completed towards his/her doctoral program.
