1. A qualified and functional semi-automatic pistol or. The only weapon calibers allowed in this course will be: 9mm. 40. and 45. There will be no .22 or .32 caliber weapons allowed. 2. At least three magazines for your semi-auto. 3. Magazine pouches for your belt. 4. 500 rounds of certified lead free frangible ammunition. NO HOME LOADED AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE RANGE. 5. Please DO NOT bring your gun into the classroom, but have it available on the first day of class. You will not need them until the first range day. Penal Code #12025: Firearms can be transported unloaded in a locked container. 6. ANZI certified eye and ear protection required. 7. Suitable range attire-laced athletic shoes or boots required; no sandals or slip on shoes allowed. 8. Pens and notepaper. 9. A quality holster capable of allowing you to re-holster with one hand. We will not allow you to attend this course without a quality holster. Please bring your holster with you to the first day of class so that we can inspect it. 10. We cannot allow any of the following: shoulder holsters, ankle holsters, cross draw holsters, fanny packs, holsters not specifically designed for your gun, holsters with an antiquated flap type retention device holsters without some form of approved retention device strap or snap. 11. Make sure that your firearm and equipment are clean and functioning. We will not have the ability to work on your guns or equipment during this course. If your gun has performance deficiencies you may be asked to drop the class and take it another time. 12. Range safety violations will be cause for immediate dismissal from this course.
