Humans vs. Zombies

We are playing humans vs. zombies. Everyone will start out as a human except one person. There is one original zombie, which we will choose by passing out playing cards. Whoever gets the Joker is the original zombie. I want whoever draws the joker to keep it a secret.

Everyone will get a glow-stick to start off with. When you are tagged, you become a zombie and you break your glow-stick. The original zombie will not break their glow-stick until they tag their first person. So, the original zombie is a secret until then. That means that you can trust no one until the first kill has been made!

Tagging: A zombie will make their kill by tagging another person using their hand.

Stunning: Humans will be armed with socks (or nerf guns) that they can throw at the zombies. When a zombie is hit with a sock they are stunned for 60 seconds. When a zombie is stunned that means that they can’t tag or chase anyone.

Off limit areas: There are a few areas of the library that are off limits. That include any room that has a shut door and behind the circulation desk. You cannot tag anyone in the restrooms. If you need to go to the restroom while we are playing you are allowed and you are safe in there. However you are not allowed to barricade yourself in the restroom. Also, zombies are not allowed to camp outside of restroom waiting for someone to come out and tag them.

Other rules: You are not allowed to take books off the shelves to use as shields. Please be careful when throwing socks to not throw them hard enough to injure or knock something down.

When does the game end? The game ends when everyone has been turned into a zombie. Or the human’s have survived until the allotted time.
