Overview: Materials: You will create a memory book of past family holidays Construction paper, markers, photos, glue or tape, featuring photos of family members at different scissors OR PowerPoint software and Flash drive. holiday celebrations and brief descriptions under each photo. Your memory book can be created digitally using a PowerPoint presentation, or with construction paper. Then present your book to the class, explaining each picture and holiday and describing selected family members.

Sequence: STEP 1: Write a rough draft that describes at least 5 different holiday celebrations. Each celebration should contain a paragraph description (minimum of 5 sentences). Also use the imperfect and preterite tenses to talk about the past. In your memory book include:  20 vocabulary words from Capítulos 4A&4B  5 verbs conjugated in the preterite tense  10 verbs conjugated in the imperfect tense  2 examples of indirect object pronouns STEP 2: Proofread your script. On rough draft only: Highlight all required vocabulary words. Underline all grammar points. STEP 3: Peer edit your rough drafts with a classmate. STEP 4: Submit a rough draft of your memory book to Sra. Velasquez by ______. This should include the 5 paragraph descriptions and a sketch of each page of your photo book. STEP 5: Create layouts on construction paper, leaving room for photos and descriptions. STEP 6: Complete the final draft of your memory books.
