Management & Supervisory Responsibilities: Transport Operational requirements & Emergency Information Systems As referenced in SANS 10231 & SANS 10232.1

The following course is presented by our company to Assist clients and their staff to comply with regulatory training This applies to all persons undertaking any activity regarding Dangerous Goods

Reference is made to

 The National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996 & it’s amendments Regulation – 280: Training Requirements SANS 10231 – Operational Requirements for Dangerous Goods SANS 10263 – Warehousing of Dangerous Goods

 The Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 & it’s amendments: Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Substances Clause 3: Information & Training Regulations for Hazardous Biological Agents Clause 4: Information & Training

 The International Maritime Organisation ( IMO ) Landside Training Requirements as referenced in Amendment IMDG 38 – 16 effective from 01 January 2016

This course is offered to personnel who undertake (but not limited to) the following tasks:

 Classify dangerous goods and identify Proper Shipping Names of dangerous goods  Pack dangerous goods  Mark , label & placard dangerous goods  Load / Unload Cargo Transport Units  Prepare transport documents for dangerous goods  Offer dangerous goods for transport

02 June 2018 Page 2  Accept dangerous goods for transport  Handle dangerous goods in transport  Prepare dangerous goods loading / stowage plans  Load / Unload dangerous goods into / from ships  Carry dangerous goods in transport  Enforce or survey or inspect for compliance with applicable rules and regulations  Are otherwise involved in the transport of Dangerous Goods as determined by the competent authority

Training is conducted at our Alberton Training Centre or a client’s nominated venue in South Africa & SADC countries

A minimum of 5 delegates are required for each presentation session If more than 20 delegates attend , a rate will be negotiated

Travelling expenses are for the client’s account
