1. On Google Drive inside of your folder for our class, open your Learner Profiles of World Leaders folder. 2. Open your Evidence of Work folder. 3. Inside your Evidence of Work folder, create a new Google doc and name it Criterion C. a. Choose font type Arial or Times New Roman and font type 12. b. Below the dotted line and beginning with the words “Your Name/Block,” select and highlight all of the information to the bottom of the last process journal for this criterion and copy it. Make sure that you have highlighted and copied all of it. c. Then Paste it onto your Criterion C document at Google Drive. Use this original form. Do not delete directions, questions, instructions for tasks, etc. Do not rearrange any data or information. Only titles and headings should be centered aligned. Everything else (directions, questions, answers, etc.) is to be left aligned. d. Fix any formatting issues (spacing, recreating table or charts, etc.). - Select/highlight the entire document: Click Edit --> Select All. - Select Single Space from the Line Spacing Icon. - Select font size 12. - Select either Arial or Times New Roman. - Fix text alignment and spacing issues e. Otherwise, in general, please keep the formatting as it is. f. Do not add extra bold, italicize or underline regular text or data. Evidence of Work - Classwork and Homework
Describe, discuss, and analyze your Criterion C, Objective 1 Evidence of Work. Be very thorough and cite specifics as you answer questions, provide information, and follow instructions.
Review the what our project is about: What is my project about? What are the expectations? In our IB world, our project is about you using the Design Cycle and your critical thinking skills to inquire, research, analyze, develop ideas, plan, create, evaluate, and reflect a presentation of your choice about your interests, values, your Learner Profile traits and characteristics of five or more world leaders, including their Learner Profiles. You are expected to write strong, effective sentences. What does a strong, effective sentence look like? Besides being grammatically correct, a strong effective sentence elaborates with specifics and depending upon the question or task, it may also analyze, compare/contrast, draw conclusions, make predictions, evaluate, or reflect. So please apply your higher order thinking skills as you answer questions and complete tasks. You are expected to go above and beyond, think globally, look at the bigger picture, carefully read and purposefully read and follow instructions for each question, item, or task for each criterion. As principled IB learners, you are expected to complete your work with honesty and integrity in an organized and timely manner. Which of our IB MYP IB Learner Profile traits fit you the most? Why? Instructions for My Plan: Complete 3 Tasks
Overview Complete all instructions and paperwork for your plan first before creating your product on your computer or laptop. Another person should be able to successfully complete your presentation or product based on the plan part of Criterion C. This paperwork include three tasks: Task #1: Data paraphrased from your Criterion A research, rewritten for your created product, along with other required information (title, your name, introduction, conclusion, and credits). Task #2: A storyboard or other appropriate drawing or design that sketches the layout and provides every detail about your product: information, graphics, optional sound, optional video, etc., according to the my created specifications for my selected software or product in this Criterion C: Creating the Solution Evidence of Work document. Task #3: An essay of 20 or more strong, effective sentences in which you thoroughly and analytically summarize your plan for your product. Task #1 Below, paraphrase data from your Criterion B, Objective 4’s drawing /diagram. Do not merely repeat data and information from your rewritten research and storyboard. Dig deeper as you explain, analyze, and predict exactly what your presentation will look and sound like. How much time do you expect it will take you to complete your multimedia or web design presentation? What do you expect to work well? What obstacles, constraints, and issues do you expect to possibly encounter and how will you solve them?
Criterion C, Objective 1 Process Journal

5. In two or more strong, effective sentences, discuss how your detailed essay is an additional process that helps you to complete your plans for your presentation.

Carefully read and thoroughly follow these instructions: 1. Use appropriate techniques and equipment. Ask yourself these questions; answer them in your process journal. 2. Are there shortcuts I should be using? 3. Am I using the best application to solve the problem? 4. What is both the most efficient and most thorough approach or strategy to create and design my presentation or product? 5. Follow the plan. 6. I should follow my plan to create your product. 7. I will make sure to note any changes to the plan in my process journal. 8. Create the product/solution. 9. In my process journal, I will give an account of exactly what I did, what changes/additions were made, and explain why. 10. On my laptop or on my nondigital product, I will follow the specifications as I create my product according to my plan, as detailed in my paraphrased data from research, my storyboard or other sketched layout, and my essay.
Criterion C, Objectives 2, 3, 4, and 5 Process Journal
1. Are you using the best application or software to create your product (to solve the problem)? If yes, explain why and how. If no, explain why not and how not. 2. Are there any specific keyboard shortcuts you are using? If, yes, explain the keyboard shortcuts you use. If not, explain why you are not using any keyboard shortcuts. 3. Did you exactly follow your plan when creating your presentation? If yes, explain why and discuss how that went. If no, discuss and explain any changes to your plan. As you make changes, additions, or deletions from your plan, please make note of these changes here. List the date, explain what the change or modification is, and discuss why the change was made. 4. Did you follow the specifications? How may the specifications be improved? 5. Looking at the larger picture of using digital tools in your life, how can you become more efficient with using a computer, laptop, or a mobile device (i.e., tablet or smartphone)? Below, with a bullet list, list five ways that you can improve your performance with using digital applications and software on a computer, laptop, or mobile device. 6. In a paragraph of four or more strong, effective sentences, reflect, analyze, and evaluate your use of Criterion C: Creating the solution - of the design cycle. How do you feel about your time, effort, and work that you invested with completing your plan for your presentation or product? What are its strengths? What did you do best? What are its OFI’s (opportunities for improvement or what would you improve on)? What would you do differently if you had to do your presentation over? (If you have time, you may revise or update your presentation or product now before handing it in!)

There is no peer review/evaluation form with Criterion C, but you are encouraged to have a peer check your work before handing it in. R evise and proofread your work. What are your strengths and opportunities for improvement? Did you go above and beyond meeting minimum expectations and requirements? Does your work also consider the big picture, global perspectives, international mindedness, etc. Are your responses thorough and specific?
At Google Drive, use both spell check and your brain to correct errors in spelling, capitalization, sentence structure (e.g., subject/verb agreement), and other standard English grammar issues. Please use standard English. For example, use "and," not "&;" capitalize "I," etc. Are your paragraphs indented properly (approximately five to eight spaces)?
Use the original form that you were directed to copy and paste onto a Google doc and follow all instructions on both the criterion's document and below. If not, a submitted assignment will be unacceptable and may result in a temporary 0-50 until the document is resubmitted correctly. 1. Do not delete directions, questions, instructions for tasks, etc. 2. Do not rearrange any data or information. 3. Your name, block, and date of submission 4. Answers should be in plain font and in any dark color.
For an assessment grade, please submit your criterion document via Text Entry at this assignment's webpage at Canvas by the date announced in class. 1. At this assignment's Canvas webpage, click the Submit Assignment button at the top. 2. Copy your entire criterion document on Google Drive and paste it in the Text Entry box. 3. As you proofread your work again, make sure that your first/last name, class block, and date handed in are accurately typed at the top of the page. 4. Fix any formatting issues, such as spacing, left alignment questions adding borders (gridlines), adjusting cell sizes, etc. 5. Everything will probably align left and that is OK. :-) Just keep it that way. Any color will probably end up black or gray. You may also use any dark color for titles, headings, and your answers. 6. Your charts or tables will probably appear without borders. To fix this, click inside or highlight the table, click Table, then click Table Properties, type 1 inside the box for Border, and click OK. 7. Check the bottom of your Text Entry form: your Criterion A Peer Review/Evaluation form should be the final thing that appears. 8. Using the Comments section is optional, if you want to explain something, share ideas, remind the teacher of specific dates you were absent from class, etc. Then click the Submit Assignment button at the bottom and if applicable, hand in any printed or hand-created paperwork with your name and class block type or written on each sheet. Next, begin Criterion C. 9. If you redo and resubmit this assignment, please in class - inform the teacher, or out of class – email the teacher. Thank you.
