Previous:  Worked as a Senior Lecturer, Department of Medical Sociology, MMM College of Health Sciences, Mogappair, Chennai from October 2010- August 2013.  Worked as an Assistant Professor of Sociology, College of Physiotherapy and Nursing, Vel R S Medical College, Avadi, Chennai from October 2001 to September 2010.  Worked as an Advisor in AVWS (NGO), Nagapattinam from June 2000 to September 2001.  Worked as a Research Associate under Tank Irrigation Programme, DHAN Foundation, Madurai from November 1997 to May 2000.  Worked as a Senior Project Associate for the ‘Planning and Mobilization of Farmers Organization and Turnover Activities’ under WRCP in Tamil Nadu, Anna University from February 1997 to October 1997.

International Projects:  Worked as a Sociologist in ‘Tambaraparani River Basin’ and report submitted to International Irrigation Management Institute (IMTI), Sri Lanka, November to December 1995.  Worked as an Interpreter for the students from the University of Orebro, Sweden, on their field work on ‘Children – Differences in daily life due to different sexes on village level, January 1994.
