PRACTICE SPECIFICS  ACS-COT Level II Trauma Center & Level II Pediatric Trauma Designation  1,450 trauma patients  St. Mary’s Medical Center: 330-bed tertiary care center; Top 100 Hospital  11-bed SICU; 8-bed PICU; 10-bed Neurotrauma ICU  Solid referral base of 20 regional emergency departments with a committed emergency response system  Trauma program staff include: Medical Director (Trauma Surgeon), Manager (CNS), Office Coordinator, 2 Registrars, 4 additional Trauma Surgeons and 2 additional Clinical Nurse Specialists

Ideal Candidate should have interest in:  Burns  Acute Care Surgery  Research  Work with and teach Residents

REQUIREMENTS  BC/BE in General Surgery  Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care required, Burn fellowship training preferred but not required

LOCATION  Duluth, MN – located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior  150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul  Twin Ports population: 125,000  Regional service area: 460,000 (up to 1.5 million based on seasonal/recreational influx)
