HOST: NOBLESVILLE SWIM CLUB, Noblesville, Indiana (NOB-IN)

LOCATION: Noblesville High School, 18111 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN 46060

FACILITY: The venue consists of a short course 25-yd pool with eight (8) lanes using non-turbulent lane markers. There will be three (3) additional warm-up lanes in the diving well. Daktronics timing system will be used. Spectator seating is located above the pool…NO FOLDING CHAIRS ALLOWED IN THE SEATING AREA. The pool depth at the start end is 4’6”. The pool is not certified in accordance 104.2.2C(4).

Access to the facility will be through Gate 7 on the south side of the building.

Camping is available on Saturday and Sunday.

Clerk of Course is available for 8&U athletes.

RULES: Current USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming rules will govern this meet. Coaches MUST constantly display their USA Swimming coach credential to gain deck access. The meet referee reserves the right to inspect for coach credential and will deny deck access if the coach does not comply or card is no longer valid. Please send this proof with your club’s entries. Swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming to be accepted into this meet. Age as of 07 Nov 2014, shall determine swimmer’s age group for the entire meet. Indiana Swimming does not process on-site registrations.

Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming Member Coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming Member Coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.

USA Swimming Rules 202.3.2 - At a sanctioned competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee shall assist the athlete in making arrangements for such supervision.

Swim Suit Legislation – Effective 25 January 2010 (102.9.1 B) In swimming competitions, the competitor must wear only one swimsuit in one or two pieces except as provided in USA Swimming Rule 205.10.1. All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials. For men, the swimsuit shall not extend above the navel nor below the knees, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor extend below the knee.

Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms

Changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is strongly prohibited. Ice Breaker 2015 06-08 Nov 2015

ENTRY LIMIT: All swimmers will be limited to swim 5 individual events per day plus a relay. This is a timed final meet. Entries submitted with an individual entered in more than this rule allows, he/she will be placed in the first events entered in numerical order. There will be no refunds except for entries which are not accepted or limited events due to time constraints prior to the start of the meet. Please note that Friday’s 500 and Saturday’s 1650 Freestyle events may be limited due to time constraints. The 1650 Freestyle will be seeded fastest to slowest and alternate girl and boy heats. Swimmers must provide a lane counter.

All entries MUST be received via email. Please avoid entering swimmers with NO TIMES if possible. However the Coach may estimate when a current time is not available. All entry fees must be paid prior to the start of the meet. For email entries please send all payments and forms, including the Summary of Entries, by U. S. Mail or other carrier prior to the start of the meet.

DECK ENTRIES: Will be accepted if the meet is not filled only as new additions. Deck entries are only for swimmers on teams already entered into the meet. Entry fee for deck entries is $8.00 per individual event and $12.00 per relay.

Please note that NOB swimmers may be given priority where heats are limited due to time constraints.

DEADLINE: All entries should arrive via email attachment (preferred) or via postal service or other delivery service. No hand deliveries by club personnel will be accepted. We will send acceptance/rejections by email so please include a valid email address for confirmation. If you do not have access to email, include a self-addressed confirmation. Entries are accepted starting 14 Sep 2015. The entry deadline will be 23 Oct 2015. Any accepted team entries may be updated until NOON on Monday 02 Nov 2015. Updated times must be received via email. We may extend the deadline if the meet is not full. In the past this meet has been filled so please send your entries early. If cuts are needed to accommodate the timeline, preference is given to teams with the earliest entries. The meet director, however, reserves the right to make any cuts as needed to accommodate USA Swimming 4-hour rule.

REFUND: In the event that entries are limited, the host club must return the entry fees to the club(s) whose swimmers are not allowed to compete in the specific event(s).

SIGN-IN: All swimmers MUST sign in, in the hallway between the boys and girls locker room, 50 minutes prior to the start of the session. The hallway is located at the south end of the high school. Sign in sheets will be hanging on the wall. There will be volunteers available to help swimmers sign in. Failure to sign in may result in the swimmer being scratched for the day. .

AWARDS: 8 &U, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14

Medals- 1st- 8th place Ribbons- 9th -16th place High Point – Top 3 male and female athletes

15 & older High Point - Top 5 male and female athletes

. 13-14, 15-16, 17 and over will swim in the open events and their results will be separated by age group the entire meet. . For the open 400 IM, open 500 free, and open 1000 free, the results will be put in specific age groups (i.e., 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15 & over) and then scored. For all other events athletes must swim in their appropriate age group to score points.

All other awards will be given to the coaches of each team after the meet. No awards will be mailed unless a SASE mailer is provided to the Noblesville Swim Club meet director. Additional copies of the final results may be ordered for $6.00 each. Noblesville Swim Club will provide IN Swimming with an official copy of the results immediately after the completion of the meet so your results will be available in SWIMS database.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Locker rooms with shower and restroom are available; however, no lockers are available. Noblesville Swim Club will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.  No Photography is permitted in the locker rooms.  No parents are permitted to pass through the locker rooms, unless appropriately credentialed.  No smoking permitted in or around the pool area.  No glass containers are allowed in the pool area.  Breakfast, lunch and snack items will be available at the concession stand.  No folding chairs or other obstructions are permitted in the spectator viewing area. SCHEDULE: Friday: Warm-up: 4:30PM – 5:30PM. Sign-in sheets come down: 4:40PM. Sessions start at 5:30PM.

Saturday & Sunday Morning Sessions: Warm-up: 7:00AM – 8:00AM. Sign-in sheets come down at 7:10AM. Session starts at 8:00AM.

Saturday 1650 Session: Warm-up: At the conclusion of the morning session. Sign-in sheets come down: 11:30PM. Session starts 10 minutes after warm-ups begin. The session will be swum fastest to slowest, and alternating girls then boys events.

Saturday Afternoon Session: Warm-up: Not before 2:00PM. Sign-in sheets come down: 10 minutes after warm-up starts. Session starts 60 minutes after warm-ups begin.

Sunday Afternoon Session: Warm-up: Not before 12:30PM. Sign-in sheets come down: 10 minutes after warm-up starts. Session starts 60 minutes after warm-ups begin.

SAFETY: The safety of all participants and spectators is of the highest priority. All persons using the facility are required to obey the facility management staff at all times regarding safety issues. Any persons not following these instructions will be removed from further participation in the event.

The meet referee will make every effort to run the events as published but reserves the right to delay and or reschedule for a later time any events, which are interrupted or delayed. Ice Breaker 2015 06-08 Nov 2015
