Changes in the Grant • AOF has moved to a manpower and extension capacity building grant Program from the • Presentation to the producer committee is no longer required previous grant cycle • The amount of matching funds required has been reduced • The three program areas have changed to Manpower, Agriculture Extension, and Environmental Stewardship program • Maximums are in place for the Manpower and Agriculture Extension Programs, but not for the Environmental Stewardship Program • Written Extension plans will be required by successful applicants • Performance measures will be determined and reported on through the Extension Plan • Only electronic applications are being accepted • Use Schedule 1 and 2 to explain and calculate your yearly extension expenses Grant Application • Applications must be emailed by January 8, 2016 Deadline • Applications received after January 8, 2016 will not be eligible for funding. Environmental Stewardship Extension Activities Program

Below are three figures each with a different heading, Stewardship Self-Assessment Tools (such as EFP), Growing Forward 2 (GF2) and Local Initiatives. In order to obtain funding through the Environmental Stewardship section we require that you complete all sections of the Stewardship Self-Assessment Tools and Growing Forward 2 figures. Completion of the Local Initiatives is not required, however if you are seeking funding for environmental extension initiatives in an area that is not covered by the GF2 or EFP sections please complete this section in order for this program to be considered for additional funding.

While completing the performance measures section of each figure we encourage applicants to build upon what has already been outlined in the application in order to help them build the best possible application. However, additions in this area are not a requirement and it is down to the applicant to decide how to best measure the success of their programing.
