New LNB From Tampa Delivers Improved Performance for X Band Military and Commercial Antenna Applications

Tampa, Florida (February 10, 2005) ------Tampa Microwave Lab announced that has released another addition to their growing line of up and down converters, the LNB-6300-50-112A low noise block down converter that meets the needs of the growing X band Satcom market. This new LNB converts the X band downlink frequencies of 7.27-7.75 GHz to an output frequency of 950 to 1450 MHz and offers system operators and designers a cost-efficient solution with outstanding low noise characteristics and high performance reliability.

Key performance specifications include conversion gain of 50 dB, typical noise figure of 0.9 dB (67K) typical and flatness of +/- .5 dB over 40 MHz. Optional isolators for improved VSWR (with 0.1db increase in NF) are available and the unit can be provided with an internal reference or an external reference multiplexed on the IF (to be specified at time of order).
