Notebooks: Trace first name  3/1 Family Reading Night – No Tracing numbers 0 – 20 homework, just reading! Please be sure to turn Tracing uppercase and lowercase A - Z in your reading log on 3/2 (1 line each // 1 number and letter a day)  3/2 Dr. Seuss’ Birthday – come to school ------dressed in Dr. Seuss themed outfits! ------

This week we will be focusing on:

Phonics  Long and Short Vowel O & U (sound recognition )

Math  Making graphs  Sorting and identifying shapes by size, color and shape  Measuring lengths using linking cubes  Counting forward and backward using number lines

Language Arts  Unit 5 – Our Neighborhood (community workers, important places in our neighborhood) Syllables
