Assistant Practice Manager

Permanent post - 30 to 37.5 hours per week.

Kelso Group Medical Practice is the largest GP Practice in NHS Borders providing Medical Services to nearly 12,000 patients in the local area.

Due to retirement, we are currently looking for an Assistant/Deputy Practice Manager to work with the Practice Manager in the smooth running of the Practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent people-management, communication and organisation skills and a friendly can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will:  Be responsible for the day to day efficient running of the office team  Be responsible for the management of clinical and administrative staff rotas  Work with the Practice Manager in the implementation of quality and process improvements  Deputise for the Practice Manager as required

Applications from candidates with experience in customer services and supervisory roles would be welcome. Experience in General Practice or the health sector is advantageous but not essential.
