Sub: Nomination in the grade of SUPERINTENENTS to Trichy C .Ex Comm’te against the vacancies arising due to selection posting of SUPERINTENDENTS to Tuticorin Customs Comm’te as per Administrative order No.01/2008 dt. 01/04/2008 issued by Chief Commissioner of Customs (Prev.), Chennai

Ref:Estt. Order issued by Trichy Customs, wherein Superintendents from Trichy C.Ex Commissionerate have been posted to Tuticorin Comm’te (SP03 RB) ______The system of Selection posting of Superintendents to Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate (SP03 RB) from the willing/eligible Officers working in the CLUSTER Comprising of Trichy C.Ex. Comm’te and Trichy Customs Comm’te as per Administrative order No.01/2008 dt. 01/04/2008 issued by Chief Commissioner of Customs (Prev.), Chennai , whereby on completion of Selection posting, the Officers are required to serve in coastal formations of Trichy Customs Comm’te), necessitates SIMULTANEOUS COMPULSORY NOMINATIONS OF SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF SUPERINTENDENTS to Trichy C.Ex. Comm’te to fill up the consequential vacancies arising in Trichy Central Excise Comm’te.

Therefore, the following Superintendents are nominated to Central Excise Commissionerate, Tiruchirappalli, with immediate effect, against vacancies arising due to posting of Superintendents from Trichy C.Ex. Comm’te to Customs Comm’te Tuticorin.. They shall report to the Commissioner of C.Ex. Trichy, on relief.

Ref : This Office Circular issued vide C.No.II/3/08/2011-Pers dt 05/05/2011 calling for willingness for SP 03 RB. ***** The following Superintendents of Central Excise / Customs enlisted, based on their Request/Willingness/Fitness, are posted to Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate, on SELECTION POSTING ON 03 YEARS ROTATION BASIS (SP 03 RB) from the list of Officers jointly approved by the Commissioners of Trichy and Tuticorin.

2. The maximum period of service for Superintendent posted to Tuticorin Custom House will be for a period of 03 years from the date/month mentioned in the order. The Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin may post/rotate the above Officers among various sections in the Customs Commissionerate Tuticorin, including the work relating to the Ferry Service between India and Sri Lanka. If any officer joins Tuticorin Customs after the date mentioned in this order, the date of order will be considered for ascertaining the completion of 03 years of service by the Officer. The repatriation of officers on completion of SP 03 RB tenure will be made as per the above mentioned Administrative Order 01/2008. On completion of the SP 03 RB at Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate, request for immediate ICT will not be entertained. 3. The above Officers may be relieved on or before 29/07/2011 and shall join in Customs Commissionerate Tuticorin immediately on relief.

4. The Officers who have not completed their station tenure in their present place of working are not entitled for Transfer Benefits.

5. If any of the above officers who have been finally selected and posted to Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate on SP 03 RB vide this Order fails to join duty at Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate IN TIME, the officer will be debarred from SP 03 RB for a period of 03 years from 2011.
