IV. Unfinished Business
. Website Review – Trudy Sharp
Collaborative members looked at the new website OhioMHAS has created for the Southeast Trauma Informed Care Collaborative http://mha.ohio.gov/Default.aspx?tabid=840. It looks great! Jennifer asked everyone to think about information they want to share on the website.
Some ideas include:
Include a list of Collaborative members – by name, organization or both; Include SETICC’s agenda and minutes available on the site; Include dates of upcoming SETICC meetings; The map icon will eventually have links to individual counties when you click on them. Jennifer asked members to get their counties information to her.
V. New Business
. Regional TIC Collaborative Funding
OhioMHAS has offered $7,000.00 in funding to all of Ohio’s TIC groups. Jennifer asked Collaborative members to answer this question:
If you had $7,000.00 to help the region move TIC forward, what would you do with the money?
The Collaborative broke out into their four areas and rotated through each topic are: . Website . Awareness/Outreach . Training . Survey/ Letter
Each group was asked to think about how they wanted to use the Department’s money. After thinning down the ideas and members selecting their favorites with colored dots, the following ideas were selected:
* Idea to save for later: Establish accreditation guidelines; offer some sort of recognition or a certificate for TIC training. This may be the role of SAMHSA.
The money from OhioMHAS will be funneled through the Athens, Hocking, Vinton ADAMHS Board and the Six-County ADADMHS Board. Jennifer will begin completing the paperwork for the funding.
