2015 Summer Concerts at Quiet Waters Park
July11 – Sweet Leda – Powered by Julie Cymek’s sultry, commanding vocals and electrifying stage presence, Sweet Leda is taking the diverse mid-Atlantic music scene by storm as one of the most exciting and accomplished live acts on the rise. With its rich blend of new school funk, psychedelic rock, soul and pop, Sweet Leda’s heartfelt original music can best be described as a female-fronted, soul-based, Zeppelin meets Chili Peppers! 6:00PM-8:00PM
July 18 – Kelly Bell Band–Voted best blues band 12 years in a row and among the most genre-expanding acts on today’s blues scene. Who else can combine elements of hip-hop, funk and blues-- electrified here, Delta there, horn driven elsewhere –and still manage to sound sincere? A forward view of the way blues is transitioning in today’s scene…Bell’s an honest poet and an outstanding singer with lots to say. Live recording at the concert of a CD and DVD 6:00PM-8:00PM
July 25 –Oasis Island Sound – Through their 15 years of existence, they have always aimed to quench your music thirst by providing the best in steel drum. They play popular Caribbean and American covers standards along with some original music in the styles of Reggae, Steel Drum and Calypso music. 6:00PM-8:00PM
August 1 – US Naval Academy Crabtowne Stompers – This ensemble takes a page from the original Naval Academy Band dixieland group known in the 1980s as the “Original Crabtowne Stompers.” Rooted in the original New Orleans jazz music of the early 1900’s, the Crabtowne Stompers fuses its music with more modern funk and jazz elements. The creative improvisational and compositional techniques of its members make the Crabtowne Stompers’ music truly innovative and unique. 6:30PM-8:00PM
August 8 – US Naval Academy Electric Brigade – The Electric Brigade, the Navy’s premier popular music ensemble, has been entertaining audiences around the world since 1979, acting as the United States Naval Academy’s musical ambassadors to the nation. With its unique brand of high-energy performance, this elite group has set the standard in popular music entertainment for United States Navy Bands all over the world. 4:30PM-6:00PM
August 15 – Naked Blue Band – Drawing from the Americana tradition and firmly grounded with a pleasing pop sensibility, the performing songwriter team Jen and Scott Smith, and their band, Naked Blue, have become a mainstay on the folk/pop scene. They quit their day jobs in 1991 and have been writing, recording & performing music ever since. 6:00PM-8:00PM
August 22 – Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition – The Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition is the #1 premier bluegrass band from Annapolis, Maryland. A love of bluegrass is deeply ingrained in the hearts and souls of these five world class musicians and they have been winning the hearts of bluegrass fans from all who have heard them play. Using the tools of their trade, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass fiddle, they offer traditional and contemporary compositions laced with three part harmonies and bluesy solos.5:30PM-7:30PM

September 6 – Annapolis Symphony Orchestra – The ASO is the largest performing arts organization in Anne Arundel County and the backbone of our arts community. 5:30PM-7:00PM
Concert Etiquette: Plan to arrive early, bring a blanket or lawn chair, do not park on grass, pets must be on leash, no smoking or alcoholic beverages, food and drinks available for purchase from vendors.
Admission to the park during the time of the concerts is free.
