Applications are invited from permanent residents of Dharmabad District (Maharastra State) for appointment as Halt Agent at CHIKNA Halt station located between KARKHELI and SAMRALA Stations on SECUNDERABAD – MUE Section of Hyderabad Division South Central Railway to issue tickets on commission basis for a period of five years.

Applications are invited from the permanent residents of Dharmabad District for appointment as Halt Agent for CHIKNA Halt station located between KARKHELI and SAMRALA Stations on SECUNDERABAD – MUE Section of Hyderabad Division South Central Railway to issue tickets on commission basis for a period of (05) five years.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1) The applicant should be a permanent resident of the Dharmabad District (Maharastra State). 2) The applicant should be at least 10th standard pass and should have working knowledge of simple English so as to read the names of the Railway Stations, value of tickets and to issue simple messages to the Depot Railway Station and other Officials.

NATURE OF WORK: 1) The halt agent should issue Ordinary Printed Card Tickets and Season Tickets as per the directives of the Railway Administration. 2) The halt agent shall purchase Ordinary Printed Card Tickets and Season Tickets on payment and sell the Tickets at the rates prescribed by the Railways. 3) The above Tickets will be stocked at the Depot / Base Station. 4) Records must be maintained as directed by Railways.

COMMISSION PAYABLE:- The commission should be calculated based on the number of tickets sold rather than the earnings, which will be as under:-

No. of tickets sales per day Commission Per ticket 1-100 1.25 Re 101 – 200 1.00 Re 201– 500 0.50P 501 – 1000 0.25P 1001 and above 0.15P 01Monthly Season Ticket (MST) Rs 10.00 Commission should be calculated for each day separately. If the number of tickets sold on a particular day is 150, Commission payable would be at @ Rs.1.25 for 100 tickets + at @ Rs.1.00 for 50 tickets.

The Commission should be paid to the halt contractor at the end of each month on the basis of commission earned for each day during the month.

Minimum Commission payable: Rs 500/- per month if Halt Station is having stoppage up to 2 pairs of trains and Rs 750/- per month for halts having stoppage of more than 2 pairs of trains. 02

1) The commission will be adjusted at the time of purchasing tickets 2) The successful applicant will have to pay Security deposit of Rs 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) and execute an agreement with the Railways.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED:

1) Hand written application (Format enclosed Annexure II)with Name, Address, Phone Number, and Educational Qualification, Bank Account Number with self attested photo.

2) Two latest Pass port size photographs.

3) Conduct Certificate- Issued by Panchayat Secretary or Sarpanch or Gazetted officer of the applicant’s residential area or local police as per the format enclosed. Annexure III

4) Residence proof- The residence of the applicant would be treated as local residence if it is located in the same district in which the Halt Station is located. For this the applicant will be required to submit a certificate of local residence from the District Magistrate / Additional Magistrate of the district in which the halt station is located or the Voter Identity Card or ration card.

5) Medical Certificate issued by- MBBS Doctor showing that he is fit for the active service and free from communicable diseases.(as per the format enclosed.) Annexure IV

6) Xerox Copy of Educational Qualification Certificate- 10th standard or equivalent.

7) Xerox copy of of bank pass book with transactions.

Application with enclosures must be addressed to the Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager, Hyderabad Division, Hyderabad Bhavan, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, 500071.

The last date for submission of application is up to 15.00 hrs of 06/07/2015.

No correspondence will be entertained before allotment of the Halt Agency. The Administration reserves the right to accept / reject all or any of the applications without assigning any reasons. Late / delayed applications will not be accepted.

If the last date for receipt of applications falls on a holiday or is declared as a holiday, the next working day will be treated as the last date for submission of applications. The successful applicant should execute an agreement on the prescribed format. ***********

Applications are invited from the permanent residents of Rangareddi District for appointment as Halt Agent for Shivarampalli Halt station located between Falaknuma and Budvel Stations on Secunderabad – Dhone Section of Hyderabad Division South Central Railway to issue tickets on commission basis for a period of (05) five years.

Note: The above rates are subject to revision at a later date with retrospective effect. Any changes in the policy from time to time will automatically be applicable to the prospective Halt agents.
