SharePoint Saturday – Call for Sponsors
Event Description Thank you for your interest in sponsoring the 2 nd annual SharePoint Saturday (SPSVancouver) event in Vancouver, BC, presented by the Vancouver SharePoint Users Group (VanSPUG). This is a free, non-profit event that is meant to provide compelling and engaging SharePoint and Office 365-based sessions to a variety of audiences. This event would not be possible without the sponsorship of our SharePoint partners and vendors.

Event Details
VANSPUG’s members consist of Architects, Developers, IT Professionals, Designers, Administrators and End Users alike. SPSVancouver attendees will be able to register for a variety of sessions presented by experienced speakers including Microsoft Office and Server Technology MVP’s from around the world who will be presenting a wide range of SharePoint, Office 365 and Azure topics.
There are 20 sessions scheduled at varying technical levels (Introductory, Beginner, Advanced, Expert) that follow 4 different tracks; IT Pro, End User, Developer and Business User. These sessions focus on Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 related technologies including Delve, PowerApps, Flow and PowerBI.
We received absolutely amazing positive feedback from our speakers, sponsors and attendees last year, so we are excited to announce that this year’s event will be held on April 8, 2017. Once again, the University of British Columbia’s Robson Square campus will be hosting the event. This venue provides space for vendor tables, presentation rooms and an auditorium. Sponsors will have 1 hour before the event to set up their display (if applicable), and 30 minutes afterwards to break it down.
Last year’s SharePoint Saturday Vancouver included over 250 registrations, with 160 people attending. We also had 17 amazing sponsors, 11 of which were highly engaged with our attendees in our vendor hall. Space in our vendor hall is limited so be sure to get your spot and register as a SharePoint Saturday Vancouver sponsor early!
To accommodate more sponsors this year, we have included 5 new non-tiered sponsorship opportunities; Speaker Dinner/SharePint, Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshment, and Lanyard sponsors. These are available to any sponsor including ones who may already be contributing at one of our tiered levels, and are on a first-come, first-served SharePoint Saturday Vancouver – April 8 2017 basis. More information about these sponsorships can be found within the ‘Sponsorship Packages’ section of this document.
Although not required, we do also highly encourage our sponsors to participate in our prize draw at the end of the day. If you are unable to attend the event but would like to provide a prize, we greatly appreciate your contribution and will ensure your company is mentioned along with your prize.

Sponsorship Packages
Since SharePoint Saturday Vancouver is a free, non-profit event, we rely on the generous support of our sponsors to help cover the expenses of hosting this event. Your sponsorship will go toward covering the cost of the facility, event organization, event swag including bags and/or T-shirts, prizes, and printed materials. There are four categories of tiered sponsorship (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze), and five categories of non-tiered sponsorship (Speaker Dinner/SharePint, Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshment, and Lanyard).
Tiered Sponsorships Platinum Package (limited to 1 Sponsor):
- One guaranteed full-length speaking session
- One lunch-time lightning session (20-30 minutes)
- Invitation to speaker dinner for two additional representatives
- Vendor table with premium location and positioning
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor logo will be featured prominently on event materials, slide deck and SPSVancouver website
- Sponsor logo will be featured prominently on attendee t-shirts and/or bags (if budget allows)
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to and during the event Package: $3,500 CDN
Gold Package (limited to 2 Sponsors):
- Invitation to speaker dinner for one representative
- Vendor table with premium location and positioning
- One lunch-time lightning session (20-30 minutes) SharePoint Saturday Vancouver – April 8 2017
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor logos will be printed on event materials, slide deck and SPSVAN website
- Sponsor logo will be displayed on attendee t-shirts and/or bags (if budget allows)
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to and during the event Package: $2,000 CDN Silver Package (limited to 8 Sponsors):
- Table in vendor area
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor logos will be printed on event materials and SPSVAN website
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to and during the event Package: $1,500 CDN
Bronze Package:
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor logos will be printed on event materials and SPSVAN website
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to and during the event Package: $750 CDN
Non-Tiered Sponsorships Speaker Dinner / SharePint:
- Invitation to speaker dinner for two representatives
- Display set-up and table (if available) at SharePint
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in

Package: $1,750 CDN
Breakfast:
- Signage and promotional items for pre-event breakfast table, which will include coffee, tea, juice and an assortment of hot and cold food items
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in

Lunch:
- Signage and promotional items on table for lunch with a variety of hot and cold lunch items and beverages
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to and during the event Package: $1,750 CDN
Refreshments (1 Mid-Morning & 1 Mid-Afternoon):
- Mid-Morning and Mid-Afternoon coffee, tea and beverage table with your company logo and promotional materials on either end of the table
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to and during the event Package: $750 CDN each
Lanyard:
- Lanyards for all attendee name badges branded with your logo
- Access to attendee information for attendees who have opted in
- Sponsor will be mentioned in Social Media promotion prior to the event Package: $750 CDN
