Week 2 - 2017 New Year Resolution -One general goal/resolution for yourself outside of school -One goal/resolution for yourself regarding fitness, PE, health or diet
For each resolution think of something that is important to you or it might be easier for you stop. So self awareness is key… Write 3 reasons why you will be successful and 3 reasons you think you would not. For the reasons you will not, what does that say about yourself and can you change? What can you change?

Week 3 Fitnessgram Pre-Test Boys Goals Girls Goals Mile 10 min or less 12 min or less Push ups 20 7 Sit ups 24 20 Flexibility-shoulders Both sides for boys and girls Flexibility-legs 8 12 Height and Weight
Keep you own data on sit ups, push ups and flexibility. Write them down. Pick one test that you think is the hardest for you. What can you do at home to help yourself out?
Adjust all fitness goals based on being more realistic for you. For example mile time, do you need more time or can you run it faster? Week 4 Gabby Douglas and cyber bullying (open English or Spanish) Use ela worksheet for questions.
Week 5 Get updated grade List of 3, why do you have the grade you have? List of 3, what can you do to improve or if you like your grade, stay the same. Parent signature and talk to parent about your plan on how to do well in my class.
The more time you spend contemplating what you should have done... you lose valuable time planning what you can and will do. Lil Wayne
Week 6 Fitness Room Data 5 workout stations (name, sets, reps and weight) 5-10 min on cardio (time and level)
Week 7 Dear Gabby-Write a response letter to Gabby Douglas and different suggestions, advice, personal stories, and/or ways to move on with your life when you are bullied…. (Some ideas) What can she do at school or home? Who can she reach out to? How would you deal with it? Does it ever stop? Week 8 How bad do you want it - Eric Thomas Start with 10 common excuse people make for themselves. Think in terms of life, school, PE class or anything else.

After you listen, look over the excuses you wrote and and try and flip them in a way that a positive can be used…
