Aims: To raise awareness of the issues surrounding trafficking of children and young people

Learning outcomes: 1. Practitioners will be able to recognise the signs that a child or young person has been trafficked or is vulnerable to being trafficked

2. Practitioners will have knowledge about how and where to refer

3. Practitioners will gain knowledge of the methods used to target and control victims

Audiences: Professionals who work with children and families who may be at risk of trafficking.

Duration: A half day workshop 9.00am-1.00pm

Facilitator: Dawn is a senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire and a speaker for Hope for Justice. She is course leader for the MSc Safeguarding in an International Context. She is currently doing a PhD in human trafficking, looking at vulnerability and control, particularly by means of JuJu.
