Instructions for the Participants in the 24Th Convocation

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE 24 TH CONVOCATION

 CNIC is compulsory for entry into UET premises.  Attendance in the rehearsal is compulsory which is scheduled on 15th November 2017 at 2:00 pm in the UET Auditorium Complex.  Entry in the convocation hall will be strictly by “PASS”.  “PASSES” will be issued to the recipients from their Departments immediately after the rehearsal.  Degrees will be awarded to those recipients who have applied for the same in the Examination Branch. Further the list of the candidates whose degrees have already been made is given on UET and UAMS website.  All eligible recipients, who wish to participate in the Convocation, are required to fill in the registration form through their UAMS accounts.  Lodging and Boarding arrangements will have to be made by the participants themselves.  All the participating students must be in proper dress code and wearing of Gowns and Hoods/Caps at the Rehearsal and Convocation is compulsory.  Gowns and Hoods/Caps will be available on hire charges at stalls set up at the University on the rehearsal day.  Only the Parents of medal winners / Ph.D degree recipients are allowed to attend the Convocation subject to prior approval of the University. In this regard application may be submitted to the office of Controller of Examinations for approval by 13th November 2017. NO application will be entertained after 13th November 2017. The entry of parents in Convocation Hall will also be subject to showing of their original CNIC and Passes.
