Many choruses have a Special Events Chair who is responsible for handling the housing details. Preferably, she would be someone who has attended several Regional Seminars so she has some idea of what is involved and is enthusiastic about the events. Please be sure your members are aware of the registration deadline(s). It is important that they do their on-line registration prior to that date. Also, be sure the Housing forms are submitted correctly with payment in full by the final due date. The hotel is not accepting any checks. All housing needs to be paid by credit card form (either one personal card per room or a chorus credit card).

If you have questions, please contact the appropriate chair (registration, housing, novice quartet) or JoAnne Hansen, Regional Seminar Steering Committee Chair, at 702-236-2314 or [email protected]. PUBLICIZE FALL FESTIVAL TO YOUR CHORUS!  Distribute the seminar class information and any other necessary forms to those who do not have internet access.  Turn in housing money to the chorus treasurer and obtain credit card authorization for your chorus for housing along with any credit card forms from your members.  Submit housing forms to the appropriate Region 11 email and then mail one copy of your credit card forms to the appropriate address. Be sure to include a working email address that is checked on a daily basis and a phone number in case there are problems/questions about the forms.  Continuously communicate with your chorus regarding deadlines, etc.  Generate enthusiasm about the wonderful educational opportunities presented at our seminars. More attendance helps the Region!  Encourage active participation in our Novice Double Quartet contest.  Encourage any YWIH members to participate in those classes.

REGISTRATION Deadline: Tuesday October 2, 2017 Since seminar registrations (AETs) are now included with our regional dues, they are no longer a separate entity that would be transferable or sellable to anyone else. All Region 11 members already have AETs available to them. However, everyone who plans to attend Fall Festival MUST STILL REGISTER for the seminar. All non-Region 11 members must purchase a registration, even if only attending or competing in Friday’s Novice Quartet Contest. Registration is $35, and you can register and pay for yourself and any guests online http://www.sairegion11.org/event/2017-fall-festival/ . Forms once again are links on the Regional website. Each individual member is responsible for making sure that they are registered. Email [email protected] with any questions. There are boxes on the on-line registration form to check off for regular registration, and the Dinner choices. Credit cards and PayPal will be accepted.
