Activity - block printing, did presentation board = have history of block printing, kids enjoyed it 2. Fun - 4 different activities (Africa, Asia, Nutritionist, USA, community service hat making), people enjoyed themselves,

Regional Presentation: 4/18/15, need more judges, 9 from Merced County, need 2 more, @ McSwain, judges check in 8-8:45, registration 8-9:15 am, need emcee & door monitors. Presentations starts 9:30 am. Awards 1 ish. Lancers doing lunch as fundraiser

Milkshake machine: have 3 spigots, used, 2004 made. can take back if not work. 4/24/15 - make ice cream in the afternoon at 4-H classroom. 2 ish.

Milk Bar Schedule: Katelyn Baptista All Stars project. Will be contacting leaders to schedules. June 7-June 14. Need teen supervisors.

Parking permits on sale now, less spaces, $100 each. Make sure fair forms are filled out correctly. Show and market show are on separate days. See post on Facebook. Spring Fair Facebook posted barn assignment.

Steps to Success: What makes a 4-H member in good standing? Will implement 7-1-15.

Tractor Supply clover sale: 4/22-5/3, buy clover at Tractor Supply (Atwater & Los Banos). Members can go and help sell clovers/ bag things. $1 each. www.tractorsupply.com/4H

Bear Country Festival: 4/18 have festival, want 4Hers to help, maybe do a science experiment. evening things.

Board Reports: • Large Animals = 4/17 Chowchilla fair form entries due. 5/7 Merced fair forms due. State fair, market hog & goats, need to order DNA kits by 4/28, due May 12. sheep/ gills, may 22, due June 5. Can do it online. Boot camp-Modesto, 5/9, 8-4 pm, meat cattle 9-11:30, swine 9- 11:30, sheep 1-3, goats 1-3. Ethics training 12 pm. Have to do every 5 years. • Home & Leisure: It was fun. Rotation went well. Attendance lower than normal. Not prepared to navigate the fashion part due to not knowing all the planning for it. Registration was challenging, but managed through it. Find way to get fashion entrees to participate in activities and others to stay for the fashion show. $500 donation from Soroptimist to buy sewing machines. Buy 2, get others serviced. • Leadership: Brennen Reyna made State Ambassador 2015-2016. • Small Animals: small animal field day, between Los Banos and merced. cover all species. Will start small animal field day in the fall. Late September/ early October, before November. • Shooting Sports: can use 4-H food permit, 4/26, bring national training conference to CA. Need more certified project leaders and trainers. Camp San Luis Obispo-Interest in being national trainers. Need 4Hers to do presentations to ask for money/ sponsors. Need volunteers to serve food. Archery tournament, 5/17, free for all kids, provide hot dog lunch, Merced County, Stanislaus Co. Range donated. Kids to bring own targets. Maybe have donation can. • Camp: 16 staff, 6 apprentice. Boat building & bridge building. Curriculum written for camp. Working more with how to be a camp counselor (scenarios and how to respond to them.) • Science/ Tech (Mechanical Skills Day)
