Lincoln County High School Cross Country Invitational Saturday, October 18, 2008

All races are on non-repeating courses and are on the grounds of Lincoln County High School’s athletic fields and adjacent property. Rest room facilities and concessions are available near the course finish line.

*Note Grade school includes 6th grade and under Middle school includes 8th grade and under Varsity includes 12th grade and under 6th A team consists of a minimum of 5 runners, maximum of 7. annual event! Awards:

Grade School Individual trophies to top 3, ribbons to next 20 Middle School Individual trophies to top 3, ribbons to next 20 Directions: From Lexington (40 min), Team trophy to winning teams take state road 27S to Stanford. From Varsity Individual trophies to top 3, ribbons to next 30 Somerset (35min), take 27N to Stanford. Team trophy to winning teams High School is located 2mi south of Stanford (intersection of hwy 150 and 27) on hwy 27 on the east side. Course starts Facilities: near the soccer and football fields.

Coaches:

Entry fees are due no later than race day and must be paid prior to participation. All runners must be assigned a participant number by LCHS staff before each race. Participant numbers cannot be shared or traded. Each runner’s participant number is unique to that runner. A runner cannot run in multiple races without having paid his/her additional entrant fees (grade and middle school only). It is not necessary to notify LCHS staff if a runner cannot participate if they were given a participant number. If your teams are pre-registered additional runners can be entered on race day subject to the fee schedule above. All participant information must be given to LCHS staff before the race begins. Race results:

Race results for all races will be available in hard copy (for all coaches) by 12:45pm and will be posted near the scoring table area. Results will also be posted on the KTCCCA website.

Scoring: Race results and scoring will be done on a personal computer near the finish line. A back up hand scoring system will also be used and race data will be collected at the end of the finish chute.
