ITP 251 SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN (3.00 CR.) Prerequisite ITE 115 and ITP 100. Focuses on application of information technologies (IT) to system life cycle methodology, systems analysis, systems design, and system implementation practices. Methodologies related to identification of information requirements, feasibility in the areas of economic, technical, and social requirements, and related issues are included in course content. Software applications may be used to enhance student skills. Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITP 100 SOFTWARE DESIGN (3.00 CR.) Pre or co-requisite is MTH 151 or higher. Introduces principles and practices of software development. Course content includes instruction in critical thinking, problem solving skills, and essential programming logic in structured and object-oriented design using contemporary tools. Lecture 3 hours per week.
