Proposed Core Curriculum Management Teams

Standing Teams incorporated with Life Skills Focus Team Proposed Teams for 2007-2008 following the Curricula Categories and Unifas Listings : [May prioritize or combine some teams to start process and expand others.]

UNIFAS subject categories: 1. Ag Literacy 2 Animal Sciences 3 Environmental Education 4 Communication Arts & Sciences 5 Citizenship/Leadership 6 Plant Sciences 7 Family & Consumer Sciences 8 Healthy Lifestyle Choices 9 Science and Technology 10 Work Force prep

Membership and Rotation: Chair and Co Chair, 1 year terms. Co-chair moves up and new member comes onto Life Skills Focus Team. To be implemented for the 2007-2008 year. Random rotation off system will be employed at that time.

Member terms, selected through application annually, will be 2 years, unless in a leadership role as chair/co-chair then term is extended.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Project Leadership and Direction--Recommendations, identifying needs, directions, identifying priorities and decisions that need to be implemented.  Project Publications and Materials— Being the key review team for products at the state level against standards in that area of responsibility. Annual review of curriculum listings and events associated with them and making decisions for state.  Project Events-- review of numbers of participation (registration & event participation) and event recognition.  Project Promotion & Training--Market the area.  Project Funding and Support--Look at Funding Resources.

Suggested at least one annual meeting -- at Congress. [Kids, Volunteers, Sponsors all together to advise for the following year. 2006.2007 Core Curriculum Management Team Membership Teams --- Membership: Please let us know your interest:
