Enlightenment Baseball Cards

Directions: You will create a collector's set of baseball cards for the Enlightenment thinkers listed below. Working with a group you will research the thinkers, share your research with your group members, then create your own individual deck of cards. You will be able to use these cards to help you study for the Unit Exam as well as the Nine Weeks Exam.

Card Guidelines:

Side 1:  Name: At the bottom of the card you will write the first and last name of your thinker.  Illustration: Draw a symbol that represents the ideas, contributions, or accomplishments of the thinker.

FIRST & LAST NAME Side 2:  Name/Date of Birth/Date of Death: Write the name of and birth/death date of your thinker at the top of the card in the left corner.  Statistics: Divide the rest of the space into four sections.

1.) Main Idea: Thinker's main ideas or philosophies: MUST LIST TWO or more

2.) Quote: Write one quote from the thinker that supports his/her main ideas. Analyze the quote.
