Dear Coach,

Thank you for entering your school team for the I.A.P.S. National Prep. School Sixes. This year’s tournament is once again being sponsored by Lee Bennett Sports and Leisure. We are extremely grateful for this support, and look forward to a long and fruitful association.

The Southern Area heat will take place at Elstree School on Saturday 8th October. The finals will be played at Repton on Sunday 20th November.

This attachment has a copy of the tournament rules and the draw for the group matches which was made by Mrs Olivia Inglis, our Headmaster’s wife.

25 schools have entered the Southern Heats. There will be 5 groups of 5 teams and a round robin will be played. The top team in each group and the best three second placed teams will then go forward into the knock-out quarter finals of the cup. The four semi-finalists will qualify for the finals at Repton.

To accommodate this programme the tournament will kick off at 1.30 pm. everyone is very welcome to arrive any time after 12.30pm. Please bring your own packed lunch and drinks as the school can not offer catering on this occasion. Minibuses can park on the fields (will be signposted). Car should go through the main gate.

Please note: There is a change in the rules relating to penalty kicks. This year all penalty shoot-outs will be sudden death.

On arrival please report to the scorer’s pavilion. You will be given programmes and a ‘guide’ for the day.

Finally, could you please email me when you get this so that I know everyone has received this information. Many thanks.

With very best wishes for a good season,

Steve The Draw
