#103 Solvang, CA Established over 100 years ago as a gathering place for Danish people, Solvang is a piece of Denmark nestled amid the picturesque Santa Ynez Mountains of central California. Immediately recognizable with windmills and Danish architecture, Solvang is a beautiful secret. Off the main roads and full of Danish Bakeries and authentic Danish restaurants join Eric as he renews his love with Solvang’s sunny fields.

#106 Cancun, Mexico This is a magical, mystic land full of wonder. Cancun was rediscovered in the 1970’s and developed as Mexico’s Caribbean answer to the Pacific resorts. While the white sand beaches have become a relaxation and party mecca, just behind the clubs, beneath the beaches, and cloaked by jungle is the deeper history of the Mexican people and the Mayan mysteries. Come dig through them with Eric. #107 Black Hills, South Dakota Long held sacred by Native Americans, the Black Hills are a monumental treasure not only because of the colossal stone sculptures or rich gold veins but for the land itself, its freshness, freedom, and history. Through historical heartache and vicious warfare, the area has seen its share of hard times over the last couple of centuries, even once being ranked as having the dirtiest air in America. But this industrious town found ways to transform itself, seize technology, bridle it, and use it to improve and dramatically rejuvenate the city. #112 North Shore Hawaii At the most isolated spot in the vast Pacific Ocean is a chain of islands with a long history of existing with the most elemental forces of nature. The Hawaiian island chain is an emerald necklace strung in a sapphire blue ocean. Hang ten with Eric as he explores the North Shore, the less commercialized area of Oahu and home to the planet's best surfing.
