MDC, Fairfield County, CT 1996 to Present Builder Recent projects include construction of the Pound Ridge Learning Center, offices and data center for DataView, LLC, several residential projects involving redesign and rebuilding of the home and addition of new elements. Designed and installed home offices, media rooms and computer systems.

Lehr Construction Corporation, New York City 1987 to 1995 Project Manager Acted as project manager and owner's representative leading large commercial build-outs in New York City, Chicago, Delaware and New Jersey. Responsible for budgets up to $40M, scheduling, interface with all professionals, client satisfaction, full documentation and success. Clients included Viacom International, MTV Networks, Showtime, Katz Communications, Christian Dior, Chanel, Calvin Klein, The Trump Organization, Singapore Airlines, Wang, Squibb, Atlantic Bank, Macmillan Publishing, Digital Equipment, etc. as well as many famous residential clients. Many of these jobs have been published.

Herbert Construction, New York City 1987 Project Manager Responsible for a half-dozen luxury residential projects on Park Avenue, River House, Trump Tower and Museum Tower. Oversaw site supervisors and laborers, met with clients and architects to iron out situations and with the office team to preview and comment on all contracts and billing documents.

Mulligan Design and Construction, New York City 1984 to 1987 Owner Ran a successful "fast growth" family contracting company providing consulting and contracting services to demanding architects, designers and clients. Diverse projects included high-end residences, townhouses, doctor's offices, high-rise offices and retail stores. 25 employees; $500K a year business.

Action Builders, OmegaTech and The Hyland Collection, New York City 1980 to 1984 Carpenter/Designer Renovation and build-out of lofts in SoHo, brownstones in Greenwich Village, penthouses on the Upper West Side and medical offices on the Upper East Side. Also built recording/rehearsal studios, custom furniture (loftbeds, wall units, etc) and custom sound and lighting systems.

Atlantic County Board of Planning, Atlantic City, NJ 1979 to 1980 County Planner Contributed to the county Master Plan at the time when casino gambling was dynamically changing the area. Specialist in environmental and transportation issues and advocate for managing development.

Herb Middleton Company, Atlantic County, NJ 1976 to 1979 Framing Carpenter Framing carpenter doing stick-built custom homes and townhouses on the Jersey Shore during summers while in college (where my work-study job was building sets for school theatrical productions).
