POSITION SUMMARY
Assist the Management and Admissions Departments with apartment showings, lease ups and inspections. Identifies and helps monitor residents who participate in community service programs along with monitoring building, grounds and common areas, insuring that residents use and maintain those areas according to WHA rules and policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with showing apartments to potential residents and conduct lease up orientations when needed; Detect and meet with tenants required to complete community service requirements and discuss the Community Service Requirement; Identify projects and specific work for Community Service participants including coordinating community service programs with housing managers and other departments as needed; Monitor tenant participation and report noncompliant participants to management offices; Deliver notices to residents involving significant walking of grounds including stairs of multi-story buildings; Conduct inspections of apartments, grounds, building hallways, and notify appropriate staff of deficiencies; Assist with patrol of WHA parking lots including monitoring of illegal parking of unauthorized parked cars, report auto repairs or violations of the parking rules to the appropriate housing manager, and report security risks such as broken safety gates, exterior doors or tampered locks immediately to the management office; Other responsibilities to be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED A high school diploma or equivalent Ability to work with various management styles Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
