Lesson: Photography > Form
Theme/Concept: Explore form with digital photography.
Grade Level: 9-12
Objectives: Produce a serious of digital photographs that explore form, light and shadow.
Standards: Observation, Invention & Abstraction. Elements & Principles of Design.
Learning Activities: Explore form with digital photography. Consider a variety of subject matter such as nature, anatomy and architecture. Seek out a variety of light sources to accentuate and dramatize form.
Digital work will be formatted and color managed with Adobe Photoshop before submitting final product to the instructor.
Assessment: Final products should reflect the following: Digital photos that address form through a variety of subject matter and light sources. Final products will be downsized to 72dpi, cropped, color managed & saved as a .jpg.
Materials: (1) Digital Camera (2) Adobe Photoshop
