Good Morning Everyone!

Well we are at our final week, and because there is so much still going on , I thought it would be best to send another VIP email! So here it goes and please feel free to reply at anytime with any questions, comments or concerns!!!

Monday, May 23rd: There is not a whole school Talent show this year, but instead grade levels will be coming together to watch each other perform, however, KDG is only watching! So, in the PM of Monday from 2pm-3pm the Kdg will be watching some of the 1st graders perform, and AM Kinders are welcome to come back and watch if you'd like! In the gym I believe!

Tuesday, May 24th: ALL AMBASSADORS FROM THE 2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR NEED TO WEAR THEIR PURPLE AMBASSADOR SHIRTS! *Each class, during the reg. school day, will be attending an assembly to celebrate filling our school mosaic again, and we would like our ambassadors to help lead the celebration! *On this day also we will be hosting the preschoolers and showing them around as well as teaching them what it is like to be a Kindergartener! It should be lots of fun!!!

Wednesday May 25th: FIELD DAY for both AM and PM Kdg! We will be transitioning through stations for field day as a group, and as a result of winning the 'Tires and Tennies Tuesdays', we will have a blow up maze as one of the stations. We were just told on Friday that there is a permission slip that must be signed for each student to be able to go through the maze, so I will send it on Monday and it MUST BE RETURNED for your student to be able to participate! *Again, anyone who is available to help me keep an eye on your student's group would be greatly appreciated, and if you plan to take your student YOU MUST SIGN THEM OUT ON MY CLASS ROSTER! Thurs. May 26th: LAST DAY FOR PM KDG ONLY! Friday May 27th: LAST DAY FOR AM KDG ONLY! *On the last day of school for each group, we will be having classroom and kdg playground stations. In order to make this successful, I am needing a few things if possible! - If anyone has any safe, fun yard games that you wouldn't mind us using, please let us know! - If anyone is willing to do some cutting and tracing for a project please let me know! -And, if you are available to come and help keep an eye on kids, please let me know! *SNACK has dwindled down to animals crackers and a few odds and ends, so for the next week PLEASE SEND YOUR STUDENT WITH AN INDIVIDUAL, DAILY SNACK IN THEIR BACKPACK! If they don't have any, they will be given what we have left.

* Also, I am trying to make a CD movie of the year for each student, so if you have any pictures from the year for your student's class, please send them to me if you have time! Via the Google Drive would probably be the easiest. It takes a while to upload them, but then it's easy to share. Let me know if you don't know how to do that! I have a lot of the Beginnings unit and Halloween for the AM. I could use more for the PM of the year except the Beginnings unit.

*Lastly, we have run out of time to complete our Kdg memory books. So, we will begin what we can, but then please help your student finish over the summer if possible for some fun writing practice! Their journals from the year will also come home and there are several pages to write in as well as the last part of their Math book will be coming home. ***MOSTLY, I will be sending home your student's data notebook again, with a SUMMER HOMEWORK PACKET included to help them keep up on all of their skills. *If your student completes this packet or at least gives it their best try and brings it back to me in the fall, then one last time they will be invited back to Kdg for a lunch with me to celebrate their hard work. (By participating, they will also hopefully avoid the 'summer slide' that research says happens when no work is done over the summer break and information learned is forgotten.)
