‘Zach, a wonderful poem with original interpretation of theme. Mabry, uses a strong, well

Presented piece of work with a high standard of word usage’. Couldn’t separate these two diverse pieces.’

‘Beautifully crafted, a real short story about grandpa’s ashes.’

2. ISABELLA BRISCOE DISTRICT 1110- Supported by Rotary Club of Locks Heath.

‘Clever insight into gender issues, very well written.’

3. AIVA BERTRAM - ILLINGWORTH DISTRICT 1175 – Supported by Rotary Club of Plympton.

‘Story of family trauma, well written and mature piece of work.’

SENIOR – WINNERS

‘’Brilliant and powerful story of Afghan girl.’ 2. ROSIE BRESLIN DISTRICT 1060– Supported by Rotary Club of Knowle and Dorridge.
