Camp Sikorsky 2016 ‘Pioneering solutions that bring people home, everywhere…every time’

Dates: Friday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, October 2, 2016 at noon. Location: Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, CT Eligibility: Each troop must register a patrol, which is expected to be eight Scouts and two adults. Scouts must be at least 13 years old and have earned First Class. Space is limited. At least one leader must attend from every unit. If a female Venturer is attending, a female leader must attend. Every effort will be made to accommodate those with disabilities and medical needs. NOTE: A talent release form is required from every youth. This is located in Part A of the BSA Annual Health form.

Cost: $40.00 (for CYC Scouts and Adults), if paid by August 15 includes merit badge instruction, meals (Friday snack, all meals on Saturday, and Sunday breakfast), and a Camp Sikorsky patch. After August 15th, the fee is $50.00. The fee for out of Council participants (Scouts or Adults) is $50.00.

Registration: A completed Registration Form and fees must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on August 19th to the Scout Resource Center. Fee payments must be submitted with your registration form. Registrations will not be processed without proper forms and payment. Space is limited. Those registered without a rank or citizenship will not be considered. Proper registration forms must be used.

Note: Youth will participate in two merit badge sessions on Saturday. Please choose two badges and one alternate. You will be notified in late August of their selection. All merit badge sessions are taught by highly-qualified engineers, technicians, and executives who are employed by Sikorsky Aircraft designed to stimulate interest in high tech career fields. Additionally, participants will experience and visit fascinating displays within the Sikorsky Aircraft production center. NO Photographs are allowed!

Uniforms: Scouts must be in complete uniform for the entire weekend or will be sent home. Memorabilia: T-shirts and hats are available for purchase. Please PRE ORDER using the registration form (very limited supply will be available that weekend)
