 Zoom on a property line (choose any property line, the longer the better)

 Enter distance of property line

 L-click on each end of property line

10. INSERT HATCHING (TEXTURE)

Deck: Wood

Driveway: AR Concrete

 Change scale of concrete to 1.0

Lawn (front yard): AR Sand

 Change scale of sand to 2.0

11. BREAK LINE AND INSERT HATCHING (TEXTURE)

 L-click on line/R-click to break it at nearest intersections

 Lawn (backyard): Sand (No blue dot)

 Change scale of sand to 2.0

12. PLACE SYMBOLS AND CLUSTER  Place each symbol according to size (below)

 Turn off inference

 Cluster with “erase all inner segments” turned on

13. BUILD PLANT DATABASE (NAMES, SIZES, AND PRICES)

Label Menu/Softscape Labels

 Search plants “at dynascape.com”

 R-click on plant name

 L-click on “add to My Plant List”

ADD PRICES AND SIZES TO PLANTS

Edit My Plant List

 Enter Gallon Size, click Add

 Enter Price

 Click Save and Close (bottom right) when finished with all plants

14. LABEL PLANTS SET BOTANICAL NAME IN LABEL

Settings

 Label Settings/Label Attachments/Click Edit

 Select Botanical and deselect Common Name

LABEL PLANTS

 Search for plant “In My Plant List”

 Click Go (Next to AutoCount)

 L-click on symbol to select/L-click on center dot to place leader/L-click to place label/R-click to finish

15. PLACE PLANT LIST AND RESIZE

Related Tasks Menu/ Place Plant List (Right Button)

 Deselect Key

 Sort by Botanical Name

 Click OK

 L-click to place

16. RASTER PICS

Imaging Tab/Add Image/Search

 Click OK

 L-click to place upper left corner of image/L-click to place lower right corner

17. DIMENSION TOOL  Dimension tool bar

 L-click on corner of deck / L-click on other corner of deck / L-click to place label

18. EXPORT MATERIALS LIST
