Course Description: Mentored Leadership Development I C (ML583DE) is the spring term course that completes the nine months of study divided into three individual courses to be done in sequence. Within the context of current ministry under the supervision of a mentor and Ministry Support Team (MST), this course will continue provide the student with intentional opportunities for the integration of biblical and theological principles which stimulate spiritual formation, personal and leadership skills toward ministry/vocational competency. The expected outcomes of this course remain the same from the previous courses.

Course Format: The basic assignments for this term are to continue meeting with the MST and Mentor completing the following assignments as per due dates. Submit them to the professor for a final grade.

Assignments & Due dates:

 Mid Course Evaluation: Due April 26th. The student will submit a brief review of progress of the ministry goals and meetings with the MST and Mentor.  Ministry Support Team (MST) Final evaluation: Due May 24th. In preparation for the MST final evaluation distribute the form at the next to last meeting. (Check the course documents) The MST will share their evaluations with the student at the last meeting after which the student sends them to the professor.  Mentor’s Evaluation: Due May 31st.

Give your mentor a copy of the evaluation form (Check the course documents) in preparation for the final meeting and evaluation with the mentor. The student will submit this evaluation to the course professor. (Address is above)

 Student Course Evaluation: May 31st.

The student will submit to the professor as an attachment, a one page paper commenting on the MST and Mentoring experience, to be followed with an evaluation of the progress on your Ministry Developmental Goals.

Grades: Upon the satisfactory completion of all the assignments, ML581, ML582 and ML583 a final grade will be submitted to the registrar. The professor’s system assigns a numerical value to each assignment with the highest values The Life Story time Line, Developmental Goals, Text book, MST and Mentor evaluations. Late Assignments: One week of grace is allowed beyond the due date with a ten percent reduction assessed for each late week thereafter.
