For over thirty years, Boritt has given battlefield tours to luminaries ranging from Moses (aka Charlton Heston) to the President of the United States - and many others. Now this unique experience is brought to thousands more by acclaimed actor Stephen Lang (Avatar, Gods & Generals, Tombstone, Gettysburg). For new visitors and buffs alike, Lang's stunning performance brings alive the story of the battle and Lincoln's nation- changing address.

On Friday, July 2nd Lang will perform at the closing night of the annual Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College. Lang will perform highlights from the Audio Tour along with a selection of readings, poetry, and perhaps a song. Lang’s performance will be preceded by the musical production Civil War Voices. Following his performance, Lang will be joined by Gabor and Jake Boritt for a question and answer session moderated by Michael Birkner, interim head of the Institute. The evening will conclude with a book signing. The night begins at 7 PM.

On Saturday, July 3rd Lang will sign copies of the new Auto Tour at the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center beginning at 9 AM. From 12:30 -1:15 he will perform as part of the Gettysburg Foundation’s Sacred Trust lecture series. Both Gabor Boritt and Jake Boritt will join for a discussion and signing. The Visitor Center is located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA

From 2:30 to 3:30 pm Lang and the Boritts will sign copies of the new Auto Tour at the Gettysburg Civil War Battle Reenactment at 1085 Table Rock Rd., Gettysburg.

The audio tour is performed by Lang from a script written by Jake Boritt based on Gabor Boritt’s historical works. The three CD’s correspond to the three days of the battle. There are three tour options: a Short Tour which is 2 hours; a Medium Tour which is 2.5 hrs; and the Full Tour lasting 3 hrs.

The Companion Guide features a 72 page full color booklet packed with art, photos, text & more. It includes 14 full color maps designed by H.E.R. Design: NYC.
