Vacation Bible School at Holy Family

Vacation Bible School at Holy Family June 27-July 1, 2016 9am-Noon

It’s going to be the brightest week of summer! At Cave Quest, kids discover what it means to hold on to God’s mighty power in everyday life. Children ages 4 through rising 5th graders will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Cave Quest Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Snacks, supplies and a VBS themed music CD (one per family) are provided. Children will make special gifts for the migrant workers on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and are encouraged to donate supplies to them (details will be provided). Participants are also asked to sing up for one of the weekend Masses to sing a few of the songs they have learned during VBS for the Holy Family Community.

Registration forms will be sent home from CF classes on March 13 and can be found outside Tiffany Watson’s office beginning March 14th. Printable forms are on the Holy Family web site. Fee is $20 per child and $30 for 2 or more children. Please indicate “VBS” on the memo lines of checks made payable to Church of the Holy Family.

Teens and Adults, we need you! Teens (rising 6th through 12th grade) who are interested in being Crew Leaders to supervise campers and assist with activities should complete the Crew Leader Application Form. Adults, please complete the Time & Talent Form. Both forms can be found outside Tiffany’s office. Inquires should be directed to Tiffany Watson at [email protected]
