Directions: Create a brochure to persuade someone to want to come and visit Mesopotamia.

Requirements: - Paper is folded into thirds - The front of the brochure needs to convince a tourist to come and visit, so make it appealing! Use lots of color and draw pictures. - Inside your brochure, have information about Mesopotamia on all three panels. Draw lots of pictures, and again, use color! Have at least 3 ideas to write about. Some ideas include: o Ziggurat o Gods o Kings (Hammurabi, Sargon) o Inventions o Sights and views (what they can see in their natural surroundings) o Location – where is it on a map? o Education - Research other information about Mesopotamia that is not in our textbook. Some ideas are: o Food o What they did for fun o Other fun facts - Your project should be neat and colorful. - Write your heading on the bottom right corner of the cover of your brochure.

Rubric: 1) Front page (20 points) 2) Inside panels addresses at least 3 details about Mesopotamia, and uses lots of details (45 points) 3) Pictures inside, in color (20 points) 4) Other info that is not in the textbook (15 points)
