Item No. 1 Tentative S.N. 5 Providing/fixing of tuff tiles after proper compaction with road roller (4’ thick crush, 2’ sand) as per approved color and design) 1600 sft

1000 sft 6 Providing/fixing of Fancy tuff tile 12”*12” ( footpath) on the bed of pcc 1:4:8 as per approved color and design

7 Excavation in all kinds of soil and back filling i.e. compaction etc. 1030 cft complete. 8 Providing and laying 1:4:8 (1-cement, 4-sand and 8-coarse agreegate). 380 cft Cement concrete using stone ballast 2 inches (25 mm) and down gauge with leveling, ramming, watering and curing etc. complete. 9 Providing and laying first class solid burnt brick masonary cement – 570 cft mortar 1:4 in 9″ thick and above including scaffolding, raking, out joint and curing etc. Complete in ground floor. 10 Providing and laying floors of 2 inches (38 mm) thick 1:2:4 cement 360 sft concrete using crushed stone ¾″ and down gauge in ground floor in panels including form work consolidation, finishing, curing etc. Complete 3/4″ thick cement plaster (1:4) over 1/32″ floating coat cement removing 1000 sft 11 of the old plaster

An Orientation Session shall be held at Science Center Jail Road on 9-12-2016. at 11:00 am Interested Contractors/Suppliers may come for any details required for bidding.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:- i). Firms should quote the rates in lumpsum as per specifications required by the office and separately mention GST. ii). Bids Evaluation Criteria: Bids with lowest total cost in respect of items at serial No. I & II mentioned in the tender document conforming to the specifications and terms & conditions prescribed in this document will be considered for award of contract in respect of each item one or more contractors. The supply time in respect of Item No. 1 shall be one week. iii). The supplies/works must be completed and delivered at Science Center, Jail Road, Faisalabad within the stipulated time period. iv). Earnest money in the shape of DD/Pay order @2% of the bid (returnable after lapse of period of warranty) in favour of Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad, along-with Broacher/Technical profile of the equipment/company offered for sale, should be attached with the bid. v). Free after sale service and warranty period (at least one year) should be indicated in the bid. vi). Items can be increased or decreased as per Govt. rules / availability of funds. vii). The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject all or any tender or item(s) due to unavoidable circumstances. viii). The interested parties may send their sealed tenders to the Secretary, PSF 1-Consititution Avenue, G-5/2, Islamabad on or before Wednesday 13.12.2016 till 11:00 hrs. which will be opened on the same day at 1230 hrs. in PSF in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives. Late tenders/incomplete tenders will be ignored / rejected. ix). Payment will be released to the successful bidder after satisfactory completion of the whole works subject to deduction of applicable taxes. No running bills / partial payments will be accepted / made. x). Job completion time will be three months from the date of award of contract.
