SCHOOL MEALS SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT One Vacancy

Grade two Scale 10-13 Term-time only 11.55am-1.20pm Mon-Fri

Allenby Primary School is a welcoming, caring and multicultural school in the community. We are a small and vibrant school with a unique unit for pupils with severe learning difficulties.

We have been validated by UNICEF as a Rights Respecting School (Level 2) and this has dramatically changed our ethos and values at Allenby. We are very proud of our Rights Respecting status and all new staff and children are inducted into our approach.

Governors wish to appoint two school meals supervisory assistants who would be able to act as a good role model for children. The appointed person would need to be able to:  communicate clearly in English with children and staff  work actively and positively with all children and adults at school  follow school policies and leadership  accept feedback and adapt practices accordingly  manage behaviour appropriately  supervise children safely in the dining hall and playground  fairly sort out the concerns and worries of the children  attend training courses as advised by school leadership  maintain a safe and clean environment at all times

The school is committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
