Measuring Fidelity of Implementation – Barbara Goodson, Abt Associates with Chris Brandt, AIR and Monica Beglau, University of Missouri Discuss how different i3 projects are building measures of implementation fidelity into their evaluation designs in ways that will help with interpretation of outcomes.
2. Use of Technology in Teacher Training – Emily Rodgers, Ohio State University Learn about Reading Recovery’s work to innovate its teacher training model with technology. Discuss opportunities and challenges related to using technology to expand the reach and scale of school improvement efforts.
3. Using Research Evidence for Change – Vivian Tseng, William T. Grant Foundation with Jim Kohlmoos, Knowledge Alliance Discuss lessons emerging from a new body of research about how and when evidence is used in decision making at the local and state levels in education and other sectors. Discuss the implications for implementing i3 moving forward.
