NC WING SUPPLEMENT 2 CAPM 39-1 20 APRIL 2015 Personnel CIVIL AIR PATROL UNIFORM MANUAL

CAPM 39-1, dated 26 June 2014 is supplemented as follows: 9.2.6 Added. North Carolina Wing Ranger Training. Graduates of this program may adhere to 9.2.4 of CAPM 39-1. Graduates will adhere to paragraph 5.1.1.4 of CAPM 39-1 and are authorized to wear orange or red t-shirts and orange, yellow, red, or grey scarves as staff designates IAW 9.4.2 of CAPM 39-1 under their BDU or Corporate Field uniform only when attending the North Carolina Wing Ranger Training activities. Black or white belts may be worn IAW 9.4.4 of CAPM 39-1 outside of the BDU blouse and black, orange, or red hard hats may be worn IAW 9.4.5 of CAPM 39-1 while attending North Carolina Wing Ranger Training activities. 10.7.26. Added. North Carolina Wing Ranger Patch (including Ranger Qualification Tabs) may be worn by members who have successfully completed the NCWG Ranger Training program. These patches will be worn in accordance with the NCSA patch guidelines outlined in CAPM 39-1 Attachment 4. 10.7.27 Added. North Carolina Wing Operations Patch may be worn by members who currently are serving or have served on Wing, Group or Squadron Operations staff. Members who are current and qualified aircrew members to include Mission Pilot, Mission Observer, Mission Scanner, Transport Mission Pilot, Pilot, Air Operations Branch Director or Flight Release Officer may also wear this patch. This patch will be worn in accordance with the Pilot Proficiency patch guidelines outlined in CAPM 39-1 Attachment 4. 10.7.28 Added. North Carolina Wing Glider Patch may be worn by members who support the North Carolina Wing Glider program. This will include current and qualified glider pilots, tow pilots and/or ground based glider personnel, Ground based personnel will include but are not limited to the air boss, wing runners and trained glider support personnel. This patch will be worn in accordance with the Pilot Proficiency patch location guidelines in CAPM 39-1 Attachment 4.
